Gordon Wagner Original Sculpture "FIRASKEW" This is a classic Sculpture, from my private collection. Firaskew is presently in storage but was priced in the mid 1990's for $250,000. The photo is from the retrospective brochure. I am a large art collector and live in Redondo Beach, California just South of LAX. I have several Gordon Wagner Originals but this is the finest. Gordon Wagner 1915 - 1985 A major figure in contemporary American Art, Gordon Wagner was born in Californnia and lived most of his life in the Redondo Beach area. He was a painter, master craftsman, assemblagist, teacher and poet. Since 1949 he has been exhibited in more than 100 exhibitions in museums and galleries, such as the L. A. County Museum, Pasadena Art Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, and many others. Gordon's work is represented in more than 450 private and public collections in the United State, Mexico and Europe.
